amplifying the voices of people who stutter, so they can whisper for help in an emergency.

Every YEAR many people who stutter are unable to complete their 911 call.

whispering could save your life

Research and clinical observations suggest that whispering can significantly reduce repetitions and pauses for some people who stutter. And while whispering is not recommended as a long-term speech technique due to strain on the larynx, it can be an effective solution in urgent situations. Whisper for Help allows users to whisper into their phone during an emergency. The app instantly converts the whispered speech into text, then transforms that text into a fluent AI-generated voice that delivers the message clearly and audibly to a 911 operator—all within milliseconds.

Please note that whispering is not a universal solution and does not work for every person who stutters. In the context of this app, whispering is intended to be a potential life-saving strategy in urgent situations.
